
I’m Gill, a Certified Evidence-Based Nutritionist, and the founder of gillwoodnutrition.
I work with people who want to reach specific nutrition and health goals, whether that’s weight loss, improving health markers, increasing energy, building better habits, or feeling more confident and consistent with food.
Like many people, my own relationship with food hasn’t been linear. Years of mixed messages, diet culture, and conflicting advice made eating feel far more complicated than it needed to be. Over time, I came to understand that most people aren’t struggling because they “lack willpower”, they’re struggling because they’ve been given confusing, fear-based information.
That understanding shapes everything I do.
My approach is evidence-based, practical, and focused on getting you results. I don’t believe in rigid plans, unnecessary restriction or one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I help clients understand why they eat the way they do, make informed choices with confidence, and build habits that support your goals in real life.
